Abstract

In India from very early period natural healing system has been practice and we often prefer herbal products because they are cost effective, non- toxic with least side effect but on the other hand such herbs quit often affected with mycotoxins, which has been implicated in human illness and only rarely has a direct connection been established. The problem is aggravated especially following flood, famine and war. Acute liver disease, immune dysfunctioning impaired growth and development has been reported, keeping in view the enormity of problem, save lavel of toxins in food, feed and medicinal plants should be strictly followed. This paper address on recent mycotoxin issues for human health and provides a clear idea and general understanding in the field of mycotoxin issue for human health and suggested same prevention.

Keywords: Mycotoxin, Immunosupression, Acute effect and Chronic effects.
