EMERGING TRENDS IN GREEN MARKETING IN THE CURRENT SCENARIO

Abstract


Abstract - Green marketing is that business practice that aims at promoting preservation and conservation of natural resources keeping in mind the consideration of the consumer about it. Green marketing is a phenomenon which has developed in the modern business and has emerged as an important concept in India as in other parts of the globe, and is seen as an significant strategy to facilitate sustainable development. Consumers’ attitudes have increased towards a green lifestyle. More and more consumers are becoming aware of adverse effect of consumerism on the environment and they seriously want to do something, to reduce it. After the post COVID-19 pandemic, the voices have been more louder towards supporting this. Organizations and businesses have observed this change in consumers’ attitudes and are trying to gain by exploiting these sentiments and feelings of them towards the green market industry. In the age of globalization, it has become a challenge to retain the consumers and even keep our natural environment safe and this is the biggest need of the time during this challenging time of COVID-19.
