MEDIA ETHICS AND CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY
Abstract: Media involves various means of communication and it is the medium to create public opinion, socialisation and it has a great impact on the life of the people. Media has played a key role in social and cultural renaissance hence bringing positive revolutions. However along with these positive effects we cannot undermine the adverse effects of media and the chaos it causes in the contemporary society. Our media should be reminded of its objectives and the public should be aware about the type of media representation with its audience effects and we should check ourselves whether we are strong audience and weak media or other way around. We should strive for a right media ethics and its positive implications in our country.
