THE BRIMMING CHALLENGES TO THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS DURING AND POST COVID-19
Abstract
Abstract - The aim of the research is to understand the technology adoption, teaching and learning process, student engagement and faculty experience towards virtual classrooms during Lockdown due to COVID 19, India. Inductive reasoning used in this study and qualitative research methods are used to collect the data from educators, parents and students associated with institutions in Indore. The finding of the study suggests that during the lockdown period faculty have undergone the process of technology adoption and students were involved with various online modes of learning. The situation was full of fear, anxiety and consciousness. This is related to the positive side of COVID 19 and changes in the education scenario by adapting to technology and engaging students with various virtual sessions. The current study is limited to the sample frame of 15 faculties and students from Indore. The emotions and perceptions of faculty towards the usage of technology and experience are different for different users. Even though COVID 19 has created cognitive differences in students and in the minds of the faculty towards various situations during their mundane life.
