QUEUEING THEORY FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF COMMERCIAL SERVICE

Abstract


Abstract:- Waiting lines of customers are always very long in most of the commercial services. In this paper, the M/M/S/∞: FCFS model is converted into M/M/1/∞:FCFS to know which one is more efficient, a line or more lines. For this, we establish an optimization working model of queueing and estimate the optimal model of queueing theory. Then calculate the optimal number of service points to improve operational effectiveness. We also calculate the optimal service rate and the efficiency of the server in term of operating costs. On the basis of above feature, the result will be effective and practical.
