ANALYSIS OF PERFORMANCE MEASURES OF VARIOUS QUEUEING MODELS WITH THEIR APPLICATIONS
Abstract:- Waiting period is a global problem that almost everyone has to face, which causes a great waste of time for everyone. It is well known that all these waiting line problems critically restrict the further development. Queuing theory is a mathematical approach to the study of waiting period in queues. In this paper we have introduced the concept of queuing theory and some mathematical models of queuing systems. We have also derived some basic laws and formulas. Using this concept we can derive and calculate different performance measures. The mechanism which are used in the study of this theory are serving time, waiting time and duration.
