Abstract


Abstract:- Socio- economic growth of a country largely depends upon the development of women entrepreneurship. However, they still have a minor fraction among all entrepreneurs. In order to identify the reason behind their minority stake, the present study aims to determine the factors affecting the growth of Women Entrepreneurs. The study is descriptive and empirical in nature, factor analysis was used to find out various determinants influencing the success of Women Entrepreneurs in Madhya Pradesh and results were put through the factor analysis. The analysis indicates that economic factors, social and cultural factors and legal factors affect the growth of women entrepreneursand play important role in the success of women entrepreneurs. Technological and Political factors are of least important thus excluded from the study. The findings of the study will be useful to policy makers and other institutions to design effective programmes and policies to support women entrepreneurs to flourish in future.
