Abstract


Abstract:- Now, it has been observed that the term e-commerce is getting popular day by day. In the tier I, tier II and tier III cities, it is booming continuously. But India is a country where majority of population, approximately 67% of total population lives in rural areas. Hence the actual growth or development of e-commerce can’t be identified without including rural areas or villages areas. The presented research study involves growth analysis of e-commerce in rural areas. In the study, we mainly focused on the craze of online shopping and various leading platforms who are continuously reaching the areas. It also involves various hindrances in doing online business in such areas and opinion of people about the acceptance and benefits of adaptation of the new technology era. In spite of this fact that literacy of India is increasing continuously but that doesn’t mean the awareness rate is also increasing. Somewhere people are literate but they lack in awareness. While most of the people know that such type of technologies are there but they don’t know how to use such technologies. The increasing literacy rate also making people believe in technologies and this is so beneficial of e-commerce platforms to find customers in rural areas. We also noted down the satisfaction rate of current e-commerce consumers from rural areas.
